Stairs (the mind of a 10 year old boy)

Ever wonder all those times you were walking upstairs behind someone if you'd know if they farted on you? Or how many times someone probably has farted in your face and you didn't know? Oh come on...how many times have you done it. Do you really think you got away with it? I walk over a hundred stairs daily in my commute just think of my odds! Seriously I am doomed to have gas released on me. It is bad enough at times I have to smell B.O. and pot heads...NOW my crazy brain thinks of this. Ugh. Stranded

Will it is 7:00 pm on a Thursday night and I am stuck at work doing someone else's job. Damn the salary or I would ranking in some dough, but nope. Back story in case you are new to my blog, I have been riding the train in some form or the other to and from work for over 3 years now (check out - http://mytaleoftherail.blogspot.com/ for old stories). I have made it my strict rule not to ride the train alone after 7:30 pm due to the nature of some of the riders and that I travel through some rather non friendly environments. With that said it is already 7:07pm and we are not even finished yet. So I asked my mom to come pick me up and she said she'd rather stay at home with my older sister. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT? OK her actual text through my sister was "She does not like one way streets." How sad is that, her utter dislike for one way streets has trumped her love for her middle child. WAIT!!!!!!!!! Haley-Ray

A miracle and a love. Haley came into this world in chaos. Stacy was waiting at the hospital to be admitted but they said she was not progressing quick enough. Stacy knew there was something wrong but no one believed her. Then it happened. Her placenta ruptured and she started to bleed out. Haley ended up landing in her stomach cavity and was without oxygen for a while. Once she was delivered, both she and Stacy flat-lined. The doctors revived both and then rushed Haley to Duke Children Hospital. At this time the doctors told her father that she would most likely not survive the flight and he should say good bye. 4 1/2 years later this miracle baby is still fighting every day but you'd never know it. She is the happiest, silliest and smartest 4 1/2 year old around. Yes, I am bias. Year 1-2 Hospital over and over again for long periods of time. Can't swallow on her own because her throat not fully matured so she got a g-tube. Normal illnesses put her in the hosp...
