Friday at the laundromat

Tomorrow is new years eve and so I won't have time to wash my comforter. So I decided to hang out at the laundromat and get it done tonight. Here are the top 10 things I have learned in the hour I have been here. 10. Bring a snack. 9.Find one that has a machine that fits your comforter with room to swim around. 8. Be ready to be there for about 2 hours. 7. Bring lots of quarters. 6. You will not be alone, even if you think "but it is Friday night!" 5. Remember your laundry soap 4. Learn how to hover and swoop. 3. Washing clothes is the new family game night. 2. Don't even think about going near someone else's laundry. 1. Never look your machine competition in the eyes. Nice! Just finished my post and the dryer has stopped! Bring on the wine.

12/29 Randomness

I think that ALL frozen pizza's should be microwavable! It just sucks when you buy some for lunch at work and you go to open it and it says conventional oven. Oh well I will eat it microwaved and like it. I thinks cutting your nails in public, especially on the train is disgusting. I just got finished cutting them at work any way. HAHA Photo busting is fun...just be sure you pick the correct photos to bust. Never bomb in on engagement or wedding pics that's just mean. :-) Oh and be careful your face can get stuck like that if you it too long. TRUST ME. I think it would be great to be pregnant, but not for just the reason of the babies but because I'd be able to stop sucking my stomach in every day. I think it is great when someone on facebook says I believe in XYZ or I support XYZ if you don't then you might as well un-friend me now. It's like asking me to, so I do. Even if I agree with them. There are people who eat for comfort. People who eat i

Potty Training

Image
You are probably thinking to yourself, but you don't have any kids yet Terri. This is true, though I can actually suggest a lot of good tips for potty training kids from my preschool teaching years, this is not about kids. This is Nacho's Christmas present. Compliments of my wonderful brother in law, he thinks Nacho needs to be potty trained. Nacho has a self cleaning litter box and he is great at using it. However, next week we embark on a new phase in his life. We will be able to tell you if an old cat can learn new tricks. HAHA Yes, I am seriously going to try to potty train my cat. How awesome would is be to not have a box, litter all over the floor, saving money on litter and sleep soundly because the box wont be cleaning itself in the middle of the night. And since you are a loyal reader you will get to be part of this wonderful experience. Pictures included (even though it is a private thing to use the potty) Wish me luck! Merry Christmas to you all and

Who knew???

Last Friday I started to feel a cold coming on, but I was determined to not let it stay. However, even with all of my activity and movement to not let it find a home in me it did. By Saturday night I was coughing at night and by Sunday morning it buried itself into my chest. So not happy about that. Well I went to work Monday and Tuesday hacking, because who really wants to waste a "sick" day when you aren't really sick. Yes, I do get sick during the year but hey at the end of the year if you have them left and your are going to lose them you have to use them. BUT again who wants to spend them sick. Anyway, Tuesday night my boyfriend says tonight drink some Tennessee Honey Whiskey before going to bed it should help. I giggled a bit because he's a whiskey lover so of course that would be his answer for this and well most things. However, at this point I'd try anything. I did at the "doctor" ordered and when I went to bed I actually did get some

"These Days" great song and words to live by

I never liked Mondays or bad news Or breakin in new shoes And mornings when I can't find my phone Nobody likes traffic or short nights Or situps or long flights But sometimes that's just the way it goes It's funny what you use to help me grow... So I'll learn to love these days Life along the way In the middle of the crazy God your love is so amazing Through the ups and downs You're the only hope I've found The Lord you meet me in the madness I'll learned to love these days I'll learned to love these days I can see a silver linin When the sun's not shinin' Even when you choose to bring the rain Oh, but I'm trustin your leadin' 'Cause your Lord of all my joy and all my pain So I'll learn to love these days Life along the way In the middle of the crazy God, your love is so amazing Through the ups and downs You're the only hope I've found The Lord you meet me in the madness I'll learned to

Make the one day...today.

Today I read that we should be willing to help as the Holy Spirit guides us. If God has directed you to do a kind act, to render a service or to restore a relationship/friendship, do it. You will experience a renewed and refreshed vitality to your Christian faith. How do you feel about that? I agree. Though sometimes it is a lot hard than just saying sure that sound great, I'll do it. I find that it is easy to perform an act of kindness or render a service, but when it comes to restore a relationship/friendship now that can be very hard for me. I'm not a grudge holder per say, but when someone hurts me it is very hard for me to let them back in. Not because I hate them or anything, but because I don't like to feel vulnerable. But I guess just saying that makes me vulnerable. Are there any relationships or friendships you need to repair? A lot of the time we say "one day" we'll be friends again. Or if he/she wanted my friendship she'd call me.

A time to reflect on 2011

The countdown til Christmas! With only a days left in 2011, I think it is time to sit and reflect upon all the wonders, good times, bad times and miracles of the year. This has been a year of change and so much uncertainty but God will always bring me through whatever he brings me to. 2011 was filled with babies, marriages, deaths, many changes at work, changes in my family and more. January - We started the year our wonderfully with the birth of little Kenneth. Coming into this world on 1/1/11. Headed out to AZ for a soccer tournament with some awesome ladies. Happily got to meet Kenneth or KP as we call him, see lots of family from all over AZ and win a few games. Lastly we finished out the month at the beautiful wedding of Amanda and Bryan Maxwell. Such a wonderful occasion and so much family around. February - Was a nice. slow month. We hit the Padres Fanfest and got some great pictures and met some of the players. Followed that up by a BIG ice cream party at Farr

Do not reply to all

Today I sent out an email looking for votes on something, but specifically wrote in capital, bold and red font "ONLY SEND TO ME, DO NOT REPLY TO ALL." Tell me why two people still replied to all? LMAO. I mean really I could not have made those words stand out much more unless I increased the font size. Lesson I learned: 1. You can't make people pay attention 2. I might just be me they don't want to pay attention to 3. It costs a lot more money than I have to pay someone to pay attention the end. Remember, If it's Unladylike, Fattening or Fun,...I'm in! HEY ARE YOU PAYING ATTENTION TO ME?

Great old tv

Sometimes I sit here watching TV and start thinking about how much I miss old tv. I used to love to watch the old tv shows even if they were in black and white. I was so happy when Nick TVLand come on cable, not like it is today but when it first started. I would sit around for hours watching shows like Mr. Ed, Dobby Gillis, Gidget, Green Acres and so many more. TV these days can be entertaining but if there was a network still playing these and many more shows I would watch or TIVO those all the time. Today I am relaxing and searching for something to watch when I found KTLA 5.2, I have never even heard of it. Funny my employer, The Los Angeles Times (Tribune Corp), even owns KTLA. I just can't believe I am going to say this but FINALLY we've done something right! I'm not sure I'll ever leave the couch. :-) Today's line up is Gidget, Flying Nun, The Monkees, The Partridge Family, S.W.A.T, and so much more. Come on, one of you out there has to be happy

Inspiration and Contemplation

Today on the way to church I was inspired and moved to tears. I saw a grown man with a "child" seat on the front of his bike riding all around the area. If I ended it there you'd be like ok well that is cute but really tears and inspiration? However, this was no ordinary child this was a boy/man at least in his teens that was mentally and physically handicapped. His Father or Brother had him riding on the front of the bike as if it was a tandem bike. This Man rides around town (in his bike riding gear and outfit) carrying another 100+ pounds. The "child" in the front looked so free and happy. It really inspired me. How many times do we look at our lives and wish we had something else or prayed for this or that. Here is a man taking what life dealt to him and not only NOT letting it get him down, but also giving his son/brother an experience that not many other people with his lot in life would get to. They both looked so happy and he really could have c

Stranded

Will it is 7:00 pm on a Thursday night and I am stuck at work doing someone else's job. Damn the salary or I would ranking in some dough, but nope. Back story in case you are new to my blog, I have been riding the train in some form or the other to and from work for over 3 years now (check out - http://mytaleoftherail.blogspot.com/ for old stories). I have made it my strict rule not to ride the train alone after 7:30 pm due to the nature of some of the riders and that I travel through some rather non friendly environments. With that said it is already 7:07pm and we are not even finished yet. So I asked my mom to come pick me up and she said she'd rather stay at home with my older sister. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT? OK her actual text through my sister was "She does not like one way streets." How sad is that, her utter dislike for one way streets has trumped her love for her middle child. WAIT!!!!!!!!! THAT IS EXACTLY IT! If it was the baby sister she'd come and

Blah and more thoughts running through my head

Today I have a salad for lunch, well I'm not even sure you could really call it a "salad". It is just a big pile of mixed greens on a plate with ranch dressing. BORING! I can't wait until dinner, Chipotle sounds wonderful right now. Can my dreams of dinner get me through this lunch? Probably, only time can tell. Gossip - bad to do but so hard to resist. I struggle with this daily, but if I keep just repeating the "gossip" to myself in my head I guess that is like telling tons of people right? I strongly feel that there are certain question in life people should ask other people. Here are a few that I feel that if you ask you deserve a smart ass or rude answer back. (That is fair warning my friends) 1. How much money do you make? 2. When are you due? or Are you pregnant? 3. Why aren't you married? or When are you two getting married? 4. Why don't you have/want kids? 5. Did you fart? Then there are those questions that you should no

Perfecting the face...it's important

Image
Have you perfected "the face"? It is very important to have just the right look on your face to be sure your non-verbal communication come across correctly. There is nothing worse than shooting someone your "You are gross get away from me face" and them thinking you are sending them your "I think you're cute face." Let's demonstrate: Can you guess what these are saying? This is the "Whatever! I'm rolling my eyes at you" look. Get this one down for the dumb people you deal with daily.   [updated 6/25/15] This face is also good for those people you can't stand talking to and you just want to hang up. This is the "Are you kidding me? Are you really going to pop your gum all the way to work?" look. Also good for the "Seriously, they make headphones so I don't have to listen to that." Lastly can also be used for the "what you talkin bout willis" when again dealing with inferior beings.

Put down that phone...

Recently I have felt that maybe we are too attached to sites like Facebook and Twitter or just texting.  Yes, I update my status a lot, but more so because a thought came to my head and I had to say it. :-)  However, now of course I have this blog and it makes the constant status updates not as necessary.  What did we do when we did not have phone in our hands at all times. How did our friends live without hearing from us every 5 minutes?  There are so many other things that can happen while texting and we have to draw the line somewhere.  Enough is enough people, you don't want to be labeled like the people below LOL. When is texting too much...click the links below. Dumb Bride Fountain Girl Blind Metro Lady Moron If it is unladylike, fattening or fun I'm in - unless it involves texting. HAHAHA

The Party Planning Ramble

So as I mentioned briefly yesterday I am planning a pretty big party at my house for my family.  We are at about 25 adults and a few kids.  WOW I have a big family.  :-) While I have been trying to come up with a menu and a game plan that keeps me out of the kitchen when my guest arrive I came across this great article.  I say great because it made me laugh.  See my commentary below. Three Weeks Before (really 3 weeks??? ugg that is this week.) Make an invitation list.  For a large cocktail party, invite 20 percent more people than you can fit, since typically only 70 percent to 80 percent of invitees attend. - Or invite your whole family and make them sit outside if the house gets too full.   Decide on a theme, if you want one.  Make, buy, or borrow any decorations or music you may need to fit the theme. - Theme was decided in February..but you tell me where you can buy 11/11/1

Blessings - My Family!

Daily just like everyone else I have my issues and problem, but I am trying not to dwell on them.  Leaving my worries to God.  So instead of siting here worrying or writing about the crap in my life, I will write positive stuff.   While I was on vacation, I was reading through a book called "21 minutes a day for 21 days - A daily journal of faith" and there were some great exercises in the books.  On one of the days you were to write down your blessings and I simply wrote "My Family." As they days passed by I went back to my completed list and decided that I needed to elaborate on each group of blessings.  I did this and I thought I would publicly tell you all about how much God has and continues to bless my through my family.  (Wow I've used a lot a quote marks in the post already) My Family and why they just rock, inspire me and bless me daily. My Parents - raise us 3 very well.  Even while they were apart for those years, they still made sure we all

Fiji - a day by day summarization - Day 7

Slept in until 8am today.  It rained so hard all night it sounded like we slept under a waterfall.  Bill the taxi driver was ready for us at 9:45am and we were off to the beach.  RAIN or SHINE.  Yes, rain much more than shine. This beach was like an hour and 45 minutes from where we were staying.  But is was very pretty and worth the drive.  We got out and walked about 2 miles in one directions (in the rain) and then came back.  After our raining yet beautiful walk we found a restaurant on the beach to eat lunch and "dry" off.  It was a burger and fries day for me.  So Yummy.  Of and I had a few other scraps of the other ladies plate.  Next we walked around the Intercontinental Hotel.  It was beautiful!  Expensive but very pretty.  I paid a GAZILLION dollars for a tube of Stop itch.  If it works it will be worth it.  I also grabbed a ready to drink Rum and coke.  Bounty is the local rum. Let me tell you I am not sure that there really was coke in that drink. WOWSERS it was

Fiji - a day by day summarization - Day 6

Today is Sunday.  E and L got up early to head off to the local Catholic church up the road.  S and I are heading to church with a lady that works at the house.  We will be going to a Methodist church run by Koreans.  Church was an amazing and moving experience for me.  They had a special service to bless the new chapel they just built.  The service combined 2 local Methodist churches and a Baptist church.  We were also able to hear Reverend Bishop Kim from Korea preach today.  A group of missionaries were in town and he was with them.  I was just amazed on how many different nationalities were there.  No one saw color they only praised God.  The music was so cool.  Bishop Kim's message was (Jeremiah 29: 11-15 ): God has a plan for you God gives hope God answers prayers God give freedom Everyone was so welcoming to us. I am very glad I went today.  Chips, protein bar and a coke for lunch today.  Well there is a bit of sun out today so I am going to go hand out.  We laid out fo

Fiji - a day by day summarization - Day 5

Up early this morning and taking a walk on the beach with E.  My foot is still bruised from jumping off the porch the other day.  My legs are a mess with bites.  BUT I AM IN FIJI!  Caught a quick snooze before breakfast to get my strength up for the day.  On to the waterfall today! The waterfall and the trip to it were so great!  It was beautiful.  Paradise. Both E and L climbed the side and jumped off.  Not me.  Even Lucky got to jump off the waterfall with our teenage guide.  The people of Fiji all seem very UN-materialistic.  I wonder if it is a matter of not knowing XYZ exists or if they a humble enough to know that there are more important things in life then just THINGS. We stopped by a mini mart on the way home.  Joy of joy they had Diet coke and Chips.  SNACKS!!!!! I am so happy now.  Since we got home early we decided to go out to dinner tonight.  We went over to the local resort for some Chinese food. Seriously this has been a GREAT food day.  :-)  I told the ladies I could

Fiji - a day by day summarization - Day 4

I will call this day " Pick a hole".  Today I caught the village virus.  Everything is coming up or out.  Yeah me.  Great news!  Ok not really, it really sucks.  No horseback riding for me.  Just some hot & cold spells, achy body and lots of sleep.  By noon I felt a bit better.  Managed to keep anything left inside me.  The cook made me some fresh ginger tea and it hit the spot.  Kept down some advil and Banana chips.  With no computer or TV I just laid around and well slept all day.  I really need to be able to rally for Laura's birthday dinner tonight.  Ok showered, because I thought it would make me feel human...sort of work.  Today was spent doing a lot of sleeping and getting a lot of mosquito bites. Today I learned: That mosquitoes really think I am tasty.

Fiji - a day by day summarization - Day 3

Did I mention that our house is ON the beach?  Well if I did not, it is!  Breakfast is a bowl of oatmeal and juice..again.  The rain has caused the mud to run into the ocean so the shore is not crystal blue, but don't worry the rest of it still is.  I took a walk by myself today and tried to find a blue starfish to take a picture of it, but the water was too murky.  Next I laid on the raft in the pool for an hour or so until you guessed it, rain again.  It's not cold even though it is raining, well not cold for me LOL. Found out we have paw paw (papaya), coconuts, bananas and mango trees on the estate.  When the rain subsided I took another walk with E and L.  Then a great heart to heart with my E.  Oh and because I love her so much I jumped of the porch to take a picture of her on the swing.  Landing directly on top of a very pointy shell...thanks to God no skin breakage but a total bone bruise (it still hurts to walk).  Oh there is a virus going around the villages and well S

Fiji - a day by day summarization - Day 2

Up at 7:15am for a 3 mile walk on the beach with E.  The beach is not a easy to walk on as the beaches at home, there is a lot of broken coral and shells, but the view is much prettier than ours.  On the walk we saw crabs, ropey things (found out later they are a type of sea slug), and the prettiest blue starfish.  It was the start of a nice and HUMID day.  Sweat off a few pounds before a great big breakfast, right?  NOT, let's just say it's a good thing that I brought my own food (instant oatmeal and GF protein bars).  My breakfast was a half cooked egg that was supposed to be scrambled but it was cooked in the microwave and a bowl of oatmeal. After "breakfast" we all settled in to read or do our own bible studies before we start the rest of the day.  I sat there in the hammock swing and read and let my wander as I stared out to the beautiful crystal clear blue water.  Since we are staying on the coral coast of Fiji, the waves do not break on shore but more so abou

Fiji - a day by day summarization (I'll try not to ramble on) - Day 1

BULA Everyone!  Bula is how the Fijians say hello.  Actually Bula is like Aloha, it means a million things.  Below you will find a daily "summary" of our travel to Fiji.  October 2nd - Snack on the plane is gluten free (GF) but ICE COLD.  I tried to sleep but no such luck really.  I watched 97% of Transformers 3...of course they turned it off right before the big scene.  Breakfast GF and also nasty.  We land and yippee there is my luggage...um 45 minutes later no such luck for E and S. After filing a lost luggage complaint, we met up with our driver Hussein for our 1 1/2hr drive to the De Vos Residence.  While on the ride home our driver got pulled over by the police and all I could think of was this is where they check out what we brought, steal it and kill us...lol he just got a ticket for dark tint on the windows.  Since the ladies did not have any luggage we went clothes shopping in the local village store.  Let's just say it's a good thing my clothes came...w

Nacho's heartbreak

Image
So as you all remember Nacho got out a few days ago.  For those 9 hours of "freedom" he managed to hookup with a hot little white and gray number.   She is a cutie, I'll give him that.  I guess I have figured out why he tried to attack me when I was trying to bring him home. Now every single night and well all day as well I get to hear Nacho whine.  When I say I whine I mean whine.  He cries all day by the back door, just under the doggie door.  Yes, we have lived her for over 2 years and he has never tried to use the door.  He has stuck his head out once with Denali, but never tried to leap out.  God willing he never will.  But with all this crying and heartbreak for that Hot white and gray number to the left, who knows what will happen. No that is not an actual pic but she looks exactly like that.  So now every night when we are heading to bed, I have to open the bathroom window so that Nacho can sit in the windowsill and sing out and talk to his estranged girlfriend.

Mierda!!!!!!

So the other day my cousin and I were on our way home from San Diego and I was telling her that when I walk down the street of downtown LA and I see the little Hispanic magazine stands I always think of Grandma and her Spanish magazines.  Natalie said "People in Espanol?"  I said no she had another one too, it was called something like hmmm I think it was MIERDA.  Natalie sat there for a few seconds and then started dying laughing.  She says " Grandma read a magazine called "shit".  For the next 20 minutes we went along the 405 freeway and we cried laughing and going on an on about crap.  How the magazine was the number one seller.  That the pictures and stories were so well written.  We went back and forth and laughed until we could not breath. Hmmm I guess you had to be there.  :-)  Hey Natalie...Mierda!!!!!!!!! Remember if it is unladylike, fattening or fun, it must be good for you! Ta ta for now

All My Children

I grew up in a divorced family. I was the only one in my friend circle to experience this.  However, I was probably also the only one that got to know her mom as well as I did.  Growing up the middle child of a divorced family might have been rough, but in reality I think it was great. My mom was dedicated to us.  She did anything and everything for us.  My older sister was too much into her friends and boy to really let it sink in and my little sister was probably too young to remember.  But, even though I played sports I also had a lot of time to hang out with my mom. Both my mom and my grandmas LOVED the ABC soaps. They would either taped them on VHS or watched them daily.  So if I was home sick from school I could spend the day lying in the couch with my Grandmas watching soaps.  If it was not me sick, my friends or cousins were with her.  My Grandma D was Grandma too all.  However, on a daily basis my mom taped All My Children, One Life to Live and General Hospital.  I remembe

Blog Post

How is that for a title?  Really tells you a lot about what I am going to ramble on about doesn't?  It is very descriptive, tells a store, is inviting and really draws you in.  Right?  Aren't you totally interested in my posting now?  Aren't you ready to really relate to me?  NOT!  This is my point exactly.  So why do people still use these type of subjects on their emails. A few (LOL) years ago this thing called email came out and people found it a great way to communicate almost instantly.  Of course this is probably about the time when everyone came down with A.D.D.  Now that email has become the #1 way of communication in a company people all assume you are sitting right next to your computer and don't understand why you have not written back in 30 seconds.  However, that is not my point of this blog.  I mean you read the title.  It did not say that, did it?  So you all know I wasn't writing to talk about attention span. So my point, and yes it ALWAYS takes

Heartbroken

Somehow today Nacho got out and it was on my watch.  I guess that is better than when I am on vacation and someone else is watching him.  That would suck for them to have to tell me that over the phone.  Instead I opened the door and he was gone.  I thought it was another cat in my yard and I went to get him he ran.  I went to get a flashlight and when I got back he was on the wall between my house and my neighbors house.  When I got closer he jumped and he's been gone ever since. Usually he runs out for a second or a few minutes and Denali can usually rush him back in.  Not today, he's been gone almost 2 hours.  After searching a lot, I heard scratching in the neighbors yard.  I got a ladder and flashlight and found him.  I got my roommate to help me and I jumped the wall between our house.  As I walked near him he growled, which is normal when I catch him outside.  BUT then when I reached for him he attacked me.  He kept screeching like when two cats fight and slashing at m

DELETE CONTACT

So let me set the scene for you.  Last night around 2:45am, while I am sound asleep my cell phone receives a text message.  Yes, I know I can turn my phone off at night, but what if there is an emergency and someone needs to get a hold of me.  Ok so back to my story.  I roll over and check my phone to read "Baby girl at 2:10am! 7 lbs 10 oz. 19 inches.  All well." I text back immediately (in force of habit) "Yipee Congratulations".  Then I lay there and think WHO IN THE HECK WAS THAT?  I start racking my brain for all the people in my life that I know are Prego right now and who would really text me when the baby was born.  No one comes to mind.  A few thoughts, then I rule them out.  Now it is 3:00 AM and I am still awake pondering this!  I get a text back (awhile later)  "Thank you Terri.  You are up now?!" Ok crap, this person actually knows me...now my mind is really running.  I immediately hit the Facebook app on my phone, because seriously if this i

Emontional detachment

It refers to an "inability to connect" with others emotionally or it is a type of "mental assertiveness" that allows people to maintain their boundaries and psychic integrity when faced with the emotional demands of another person or group of persons.  Know anyone like this?  I do not have this ability at all, not even close.  I even cry for people I don't know if they are happy, sad, having an emotional moment like childbirth or weddings, anything.  I've always wondered if these people have more anxiety then they people that can and do show their emotions.  Do you think that if you do not attach yourself emotionally life is easier or harder?  I wonder if it is lonely to be like that or if you just get used to never really connecting to people.  OR is the inability to connect with others something you can turn of and on depending on the people around you and if you want to connect with them?  Now that my friends I think is the best question.  Are any of

Monday last real day of vacation (this month)

My parents got up nice and early. Gosh sometimes I miss those days when my mom would sleep in until way after 10am. Oh well up and ready for the day. Breakfast at the hotel then off to site see. First stop the Craigdarroach Castle. A historical caste built in 1820. Very pretty and well preserved. Sadly the man that commissioned the castle for his family died before it was even done.  It has also been a military hospital during WWII and a College.  They had a great view and tons of great items to show how the house might have looked when someone lived there.  We sat and waited to the bus to come for about 20 minutes. Felt like a typical Monday waiting on a train, but thank goodness was not at work.   We will head from here to Gatsby Mansion for High Tea. From what I was told not the place where the Great Gatsby novel was written, lol more trivial knowledge for my head to store. High Tea was yummy, kind of fun too. We each got to pick our own flavor tea and got our own teapots. I got Ora

Day Three and Four (aka Sat/Sun)

Saturday: Well let's just say that the morning was a bit rough, Thank you Stacia! So I stayed in bed most of the morning watching old classic movies on tv while my parents ran to like 12 stores looking for a short sleeve shirt for my dad to wear to the wedding. Oh a socks and a belt. Hmmm oh and a new outfit for my mom. :-) I guess they did not like what they packed.  On to the reason for our trip: The wedding it was awesome. Ryan looked great and Charli very beautiful. The location could not have been prettier. Right on the lake behind their house.  In true Perkins fashion we all partied like Rockstars. Some more than others ;-) We carried on until the neighbors complained and well a bit longer.  I am go glad I could be there representing the family.  It was so great to see Ryan's mom again and to meet his sister. She is super adorable and I am proud to call her cousin. A great time was had by all.  Can't wait to do it again in Novemeber for the 11/11/11 party...hope all o
