Stranded
Will it is 7:00 pm on a Thursday night and I am stuck at work doing someone else's job. Damn the salary or I would ranking in some dough, but nope. Back story in case you are new to my blog, I have been riding the train in some form or the other to and from work for over 3 years now (check out - http://mytaleoftherail.blogspot.com/ for old stories). I have made it my strict rule not to ride the train alone after 7:30 pm due to the nature of some of the riders and that I travel through some rather non friendly environments. With that said it is already 7:07pm and we are not even finished yet. So I asked my mom to come pick me up and she said she'd rather stay at home with my older sister. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT? OK her actual text through my sister was "She does not like one way streets." How sad is that, her utter dislike for one way streets has trumped her love for her middle child. WAIT!!!!!!!!! THAT IS EXACTLY IT! If it was the baby sister she'd come and get her wouldn't she. No the middle child needs to be independent because she will be always left out. Now my eyes have opened to the cruelness of my birth order.
Well, I guess I can look on the bright side, riding home with the junkies and drunks will just give me a chance to try new things. Probably like crack, meth, 40's call King Cobra and maybe even a pipe of MJ (and I don't mean Michael Jackson). I should be thanking them not blogging and facebooking about them. They are giving me a chance to live on the edge. Really experience life to the fullest.
So THANK YOU MOM AND OLDEST SISTER! I will take your hint and go see how the people on the other side of the tracks live. Take care readers, I bid you adieu.
Remember, if it is unladylike, fattening or fun, I'm in!
p.s. if this is my last post because I'm lost somewhere on the train home, thanks for reading and take care.
