Let some stranger take you

Sitting here on the train listening to a mom tell her son "ain't nobody want you or can handle you". Then she went on to say "I am going to leave you on the train and leg some stranger take you home. They ain't gonna want you either and try to come find me to dump you back off". Followed up with "You are the reason I don't want any more children".

Warms my heart to know someone like that has a kid and here I sit just wanting to say "ok lady I'll take him off your hands. He's obviously not loved or something you want". Would love to see her face after that. She might have just given him to me. So sad.

Because you need me

Today one of my loyal readers told me that he really needs me to update my blog more often.  He was tired of reading that I am "yellow" and he said that he sees me more as a "Peach".  LOL  I said I don't and probably will never own anything peach, come to think of it I don't even own anything yellow. So here are a few things that crossed my mind today. This morning when I got dressed in my room, I really thought my outfit matched.  Then after further consideration and better light at work I decided that I did not match at all. :-) I used to think that getting my nails done was a waste of money, but I really want to go get pedicure. I wish those belly belts that say they will tone your tummy actually worked, I'd wear it daily. If Nacho was a baby, I think he would never learn how to walk because I love him so much I'd carry him everywhere...but since he's a cat he'd scratch my eyes out if I tried. I miss fried foods. A trip and a 5k a month?

Can it be done? Of course it can...I already know I can run a 5k so I just have to get off my butt and do it. As for the travel well January and February are booked. April, June, July and August are close behind. So 6 out of 12 is not too shabby for it only being January 9th - half way there. So where should I go? Any suggestion?
