First Day of School

Yes, again! I know I hear you saying it "Teresa Ann Perkins again? Haven't you already been through college twice, you're doing it again?" No no no, I am only taking a couple classes in Web Design, got to keep my skills recent and make myself more marketable.

Day one:
I get to class 15 minutes early, guess I very much under estimate the amount of time it would take to walk to class. Class starts and it is all type of people. FYI - I have already built 2 websites and helped design 2 others, so my hope was to expand on that knowledge. Let's just say that I learned how to create a folder, and store it on the hard drive. YEAH me. Just kidding I also relearned the HTML code that I already knew and messed around with other code while listening to a very nice teacher try to nicely tell the guy behind me that "that question is beyond the scope of this class". Over and over again.

Recap: Today I was an over achiever and showed up 15 minutes early for class and made a very pretty yellow webpage that said Hello World! This is Teresa's first non-fancy webpage. Then for fun I added a table, colored text and even some varied font size. Oh yes, a great challenge! LOL

College #4 day one done.

HI Stacy! Because you need me

Today one of my loyal readers told me that he really needs me to update my blog more often.  He was tired of reading that I am "yellow" and he said that he sees me more as a "Peach".  LOL  I said I don't and probably will never own anything peach, come to think of it I don't even own anything yellow. So here are a few things that crossed my mind today. This morning when I got dressed in my room, I really thought my outfit matched.  Then after further consideration and better light at work I decided that I did not match at all. :-) I used to think that getting my nails done was a waste of money, but I really want to go get pedicure. I wish those belly belts that say they will tone your tummy actually worked, I'd wear it daily. If Nacho was a baby, I think he would never learn how to walk because I love him so much I'd carry him everywhere...but since he's a cat he'd scratch my eyes out if I tried. I miss fried foods. A trip and a 5k a month?

Can it be done? Of course it can...I already know I can run a 5k so I just have to get off my butt and do it. As for the travel well January and February are booked. April, June, July and August are close behind. So 6 out of 12 is not too shabby for it only being January 9th - half way there. So where should I go? Any suggestion?
