Dear Friend, Did you know that there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think of you?  We may text and talk sporadically and only see each from time to time, but you are here in my life so much. #Metoo

This morning I woke up to a lot of people with the Facebook status of #MeToo.  I didn't get it at first, until I started reading more into it.  Sometime Hollywood can do something good.  Actress Alyssa Milano, known for her roles in "Who's the Boss", "Charmed" has started a twitter trend.  She is asking that "If all the women who have been sexually harassed or assaulted wrote 'Me too' as a status, we might give people a sense of the magnitude of the problem."  I bet if you log on to your social media account right now you will be saddened.  Many of your friends will have this on their status.  BUT it's not just women, some of my male friends have also had this happened.  I am so disheartened by what I see. #MeToo is everywhere.  No more laughing it off as nothing.  No more feeling to blame for it.  I will teach my daughter to stand up, speak up and not stand by.  I will teach my son that women are equal to men and they...

Missing you

Today was the first big event in Alyssa's life and I never thought it would be as hard as it was.  As I stood there alone waiting for the auditorium doors to open, tears just stared streaming down my face.  I couldn't stop thinking about Stacy.  How unfair it was that she wasn't there for this.  This spiraled into my mind going to all the things she will miss...5th grade promotion, 8th grade graduation, High School, 1st dances, Proms, college, weddings everything that a lil girl wants her mom for.  It's just not fair, but I am beyond honored to step in.   There are days when I look at her and she is totally me.  Days she is totally Stacy.  I used to always say God will give me a lil girl and she is going to be so girly I won't even know how to relate.  She'll love pink, dolls and glitter, but I would make her love sports.  Well he did just that.  She is the best and some of ther worst of both of us.  The ways we come out of thi...
