HELLO 40's

Day one of the 40's...so far so good.  Why was 25 so hard and 40 so easy?  Well that is because at 25  I had so many plans for myself.  I wanted so much for myself and I kept saying that by 25 I should be xyz. Well now, I have realized or come to accept that God has a plan for me and that it all will come out in his time.  

My plans be married by 25...God's plans married when and if he wants to.
My plans have kids only after marriage...God's plans raise my sweet niece now.
My plans move up the ladder and get that title...God's plans go teach to get a perspective on life, then realize that life is much more than the title you have unless that title is MOM. 
My plans never rely on anyone for anything...God's plans show me that life is about relationships and letting your guard down sometimes and letting people in and let them help.  Humbling. 

We could go one for ever at this...but you can see that God's plan is always better than ours.  I may not be where I thought I would be at 40 or have the life I thought I should have, but I have one amazing and very blessed life.  Bring on the rest, I can tackle anything is my new motto.

Because you need me

Today one of my loyal readers told me that he really needs me to update my blog more often.  He was tired of reading that I am "yellow" and he said that he sees me more as a "Peach".  LOL  I said I don't and probably will never own anything peach, come to think of it I don't even own anything yellow. So here are a few things that crossed my mind today. This morning when I got dressed in my room, I really thought my outfit matched.  Then after further consideration and better light at work I decided that I did not match at all. :-) I used to think that getting my nails done was a waste of money, but I really want to go get pedicure. I wish those belly belts that say they will tone your tummy actually worked, I'd wear it daily. If Nacho was a baby, I think he would never learn how to walk because I love him so much I'd carry him everywhere...but since he's a cat he'd scratch my eyes out if I tried. I miss fried foods. A trip and a 5k a month?

Can it be done? Of course it can...I already know I can run a 5k so I just have to get off my butt and do it. As for the travel well January and February are booked. April, June, July and August are close behind. So 6 out of 12 is not too shabby for it only being January 9th - half way there. So where should I go? Any suggestion?
