Put down that phone...

Recently I have felt that maybe we are too attached to sites like Facebook and Twitter or just texting.  Yes, I update my status a lot, but more so because a thought came to my head and I had to say it. :-)  However, now of course I have this blog and it makes the constant status updates not as necessary.  What did we do when we did not have phone in our hands at all times. How did our friends live without hearing from us every 5 minutes?  There are so many other things that can happen while texting and we have to draw the line somewhere.  Enough is enough people, you don't want to be labeled like the people below LOL.

Because you need me

Today one of my loyal readers told me that he really needs me to update my blog more often.  He was tired of reading that I am "yellow" and he said that he sees me more as a "Peach".  LOL  I said I don't and probably will never own anything peach, come to think of it I don't even own anything yellow. So here are a few things that crossed my mind today. This morning when I got dressed in my room, I really thought my outfit matched.  Then after further consideration and better light at work I decided that I did not match at all. :-) I used to think that getting my nails done was a waste of money, but I really want to go get pedicure. I wish those belly belts that say they will tone your tummy actually worked, I'd wear it daily. If Nacho was a baby, I think he would never learn how to walk because I love him so much I'd carry him everywhere...but since he's a cat he'd scratch my eyes out if I tried. I miss fried foods. A trip and a 5k a month?

Can it be done? Of course it can...I already know I can run a 5k so I just have to get off my butt and do it. As for the travel well January and February are booked. April, June, July and August are close behind. So 6 out of 12 is not too shabby for it only being January 9th - half way there. So where should I go? Any suggestion?
